I found the problem! Vortex is messing up the plugin.txt file. After restoring the file to the original load order of the base ESP, there were no more issues. So Uninstall all the mods in Vortex. Then delete all the lines in the plugins.txt file and copy in the original load order. After that, you can reinstall the mods through Vortex without any issues. The correct load order is as follows: Oblivion.esm DLCBattlehornCastle.esp DLCFrostcrag.esp DLCHorseArmor.esp DLCMehrunesRazor.esp DLCOrrery.esp DLCShiveringIsles.esp DLCSpellTomes.esp DLCThievesDen.esp DLCVileLair.esp Knights.esp AltarESPMain.esp AltarDeluxe.esp AltarESPLocal.esp39 points

TL;DR scroll down to parts in bold. ------------------------- Hey Moderators and Staff of NexusMods, After my latest ban (which was an accident from your side) I promised that I will speak up - so here I do what I promised. I want to start with the most serious problem, not saturating the forum with other (still serious) issues. I try to be very concise below to summarize the problem, although I would like to support my claims with examples. If it will be ok, I'll add them later in discussion. Note that anything that will be mentioned below is not accusation of you having some attitude or intentions, but it shows impact on community, which is what it is regardless of your intentions. My job is senior software engineer, experienced in project work. So I want to propose idea that can be implemented in phases, starting from very small and easy changes. ------------------------- Hey Community, Please participate. I saw people complaining, saying that things have to change. But how are things going to change? You are here to ask for the change. If you're silent, it means that you are happy with everything here. Read, speak your mind, tell if any of the issues mentioned have impacted you directly, support or criticise ideas, add your own thoughts. Share this with your friends. NOTE: Please read and follow Suggestion Board Rules https://nexusmods.com/forum/9063-suggestion-board/ ------------------------- Problem: Current shape of "Supporters" area and handling of content that doesn't meet adult content guidelines (especially content that doesn't meet the criteria by a thin margin) Part of the community unhappy with the state, User attrition - people leaving website or silently quitting, Unnecessary moderation work due to users trying to sneak under the radar into regular images area, Supporters area is very unattractive place, having low volume of photos, endorsements, comments. It is not even "Supporters" area, its name indicates something exclusive, but in practice it is NSFW area, with fewer people than regular one, I saw some users removing content from there after it being moved out of regular images area, When moved to Supporters area, images are unavailable (notification about new image still points to removed image, notifications about comments often don't arrive). Moderation of regular images area is not fully effective. ------------------------- Solution: Phase #1: (trivial to do, maybe only rules wiki change) Allow using existing Adult tag in regular images area for content that is not clearly and explicitly NSFW, but is not SFW (meeting Adult Content Guidelines) Solution is already there, but it is used only for gore and profanity, any content more sexual than allowed by guidelines is strictly prohibited in that area, even under that tag. Phase #1.5: (maybe as easy as #1, but may require small change that will go into deployment cycle) Open up existing adult images area (officially "supporters" area) to Members, make it available for everybody who sets "Show adult content" option. Phase #2: (much more complicated, to be done later, hopefully can be split further, but this is already a job for devs working at NexusMods, access to code is needed to make sensible planning) Introduce 3 levels of tagging for content: SFW (current regular area guidelines), Questionable (not SFW, but only suggestive, revealing, not really fully NSFW either), NSFW, Decommission Supporters area, Migrate images from Supporters area to regular area as NSFW, Unified area will fix issues with moved images appearing as removed and notifications not appearing for comments. Regards, Code.23 points

Similar to how we are able to hide/blur mods tagged as Adult Content using the Content Blocking page in our account settings, mod authors should be required to disclose if AI was used for the thumbnail so the mod can be filtered by our content blocking settings. It looks like you can filter out content using tags on the content blocking page, but it's not required by mod developers to tag their mod as such so it's not that useful. Thinking of something similar to Steam's policy for AI:9 points

There's actually a button in the load order section called "Reset plugins file" which will fix this in fewer steps9 points

Myself and other modders have been porting over mods using construction set on the original Oblivion release. Realizing that under the "remaster" of Oblivion lies the original game in itself, I started experimenting with installing the construction set directly into Oblivion remaster to streamline the modding pipeline. Here is how I did this. STEP 1: Download BSG's Oblivion construction set from The Elder Scrolls Construction Set - the Oblivion ConstructionSet Wiki STEP 2: Navigate to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData STEP 3: Move the Construction Set installer into the ObvData folder and run the installer STEP 4: It will tell you that you do not have Oblivion installed and then give you an option to change the directory of the installation. Direct the installation to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData STEP 5: Navigate to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered and create a new folder. Name it Data. When you save your .esp files, save them to this newly created Data folder. Note: Your .esp files will not appear in this folder. They will actually save to \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Oblivion Remastered\OblivionRemastered\Content\Dev\ObvData\Data Don't ask me how or why this works, it just does. STEP 6: Run TESConstructionSet.exe - you are now able to work directly with the files from Oblivion Remastered. Optional: I also recommend downloading xEdit and Fix NL - Copy Name from Previous Override - xEdit Script at Oblivion Remastered Nexus - Mods and community by MadAborModding and following his instructions on fixing the [NL] prefixes that will show on your custom content.8 points

Not talking about modded spells, but those that you can create in the game. But once created you cant delete them. Maybe they patch this in the future but untill then a mod would help. Pls and thank you.8 points

Hello everyone, I managed to replace one sound from the .pak file. Below is a tutorial on how to do the same for possibly any other sound found in the .pak. Note: This might even help you understand other file locations within the .pak file that do not show up in FModel, more on that below! Note 2: For sound replacements, Unreal Editor is not required :-), learn more below! MUSIC NOTE: Presently there is a known issue with custom music being cut off. See this post for more information. UPDATED NOTE: Vortex and MO2 supports .pak files, just make sure the mod folder and .pak filename end in _P, see below for more details. REQUIRED TOOLS Let's begin with the Tools and tutorial links on how to use them. Note to Forum Mods: Forgive me if links to websites are not permitted. These don't point to the direct files themselves and were shared by others in the Mod Author Discord. All you need is: UnrealPak by FluffyQuak - This will pack up your mod into a nice .pak file and you can unpack .pak files to learn from each other! DOWNLOAD HERE FModel - You need this program to browse files not found in the game's original directory (including sounds, music, code etc.) DOWNLOAD HERE Oblivion Remastered .usmap file for FModel by huwiee. This will tell FModel to show you the packed file directories correctly. DOWNLOAD HERE FROM NEXUS Wwise - Used to convert .wav to .wem, the required audio file for sound replacer mods. DOWNLOAD HERE Wwise is downloaded from within the company's app launcher, any version should do. BROWSING OblivionRemastered-Windows.pak OblivionRemastered-Windows.pak contains all the new sounds and possibly other files you're probably looking for. To browse them you will need to install FModel. The .pak file and all present .pak mods for the game are located here: BROWSING .pak FILES FModel GUIDE: Set up your FModel settings to match huwiee 's screenshot below. You may change your Output Directory and Archive Directory as needed. NOTE 1: All settings must match. i.e. "UE Versions" must be GAME_UE5_3. NOTE 2: You need to checkmark "[ ] Disabled" near Mapping File Path to reveal the option to select the .usmap you downloaded. Click OK and let it restart if it needs to. Then click on the Archives Tab on the top left. Then select OblivionRemastered-Windows.pak (or another mod's .pak to learn!) and click Load. After it loads you will then be on the Folders tab. Expand OblivionRemastered and explore! Sounds are located in WwiseAudio For today's example I will show you how to replace the New Area Discovered sound which is tied to the new UI system in the Remaster. Check out my mod to see it in action. Browse and double click on "Redesign" at the following location: Double Clicking on any .uasset sound will open up an Audio Player for you to preview the sound. Close or move the preview window out of the way and look at the information on the right side. Now you need to find what the name of your .wem needs to be along with the folder location it must be saved in for your mod to work. In this example we want to remember this filename and location: NOTE: If you browse back you might notice your .wem may be missing from the Media folder, this is fine. You only need to know that this is where it should go in your .pak file directory. Sound Replacer modders you are done with FModel here! There is no need to export files from FModel's menu if you do not need to. Sound replacers just only need to know what the name of the .wem is along with their location. CONVERTING .WAV TO .WEM Here is a YouTube tutorial on how to use wwise to convert all your .wav files to .wem REMEBER: The .wem filename must match the one you found in FModel, 94211525.wem in today's example. PACKING UP YOUR NEW .PAK Create a folder inside the folder you extracted UnrealPak to. The name of this folder is important! You must start the name of the folder with: OblivionRemastered-Windows_ then add the name of your mod afterwards. For Vortex or MO2 compatibility, make sure this folder ends in _P for example: OblivionRemastered-Windows_WestTek_NewArea_SFX_P NOTE: Your mod's .pak file can be named anything you want, just make sure _P is at the end for mod loaders to load this correctly. Now create the folder paths as shown in FModel to the location your .wem file needs to be. In my example it's: So I place my newly converted and named .wem file inside the Media folder. Now drag the entire folder that you named correctly from the steps above onto UnrealPak-With-Compression.bat This will launch your console cmd, press any key when it's done packing. NOTE: If you want to unpak any pak file, simply drag the .pak over UnrealUnpak.bat CONGRATULATIONS MOD AUTHOR! You just packed your first working .pak (hopefully!) Now simply place your new .pak in the paks directory of the game and launch, test, and publish your mod! Or if using fomod, make sure your mod folder and .pak files end in _P Good luck and have fun modding, everyone! Curious to see new audio mods in the coming days, weeks, years!6 points

I've been complaining to friends about the onslaught of AI thumbnails for awhile. I think an alternative option might be some kind of auto generated thumbnail for authors that puts text on a background since a lot of creators just put the title in an image for the thumbnail anyway.6 points

This bug is still present in the remastered and was present in the original game. This means items in my inventory or containers will not display correctly and will appear missing (they are still there but will not show up in the UI). This happens when you have stacked weapons/armor in your inventory/containers. Unknown if other stacked items can cause this. Workaround is to not stack weapons/armor in your inventory/containers. Possible related mods/resources from the original game: UORP doesn't appear to fix it from my testing: https://nexusmods.com/oblivionremastered/mods/477 I believe the inventory fixes in this Oblivion original OBSE mod fixes it https://nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/47085 This one tries to help mitigate it: https://nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/466244 points

This game desperately needs the ability for dialogue to auto advance without having to click through each individual line. I find myself looking more at the subtitles than the actual characters just so I can click to the next line without having an awkwardly long pause. Also, each time you click through you have to hear this repetitive chime that gets super irritating after a while. The game looks so cinematic but the lack of fluidity in the conversations really takes me out of it.4 points

I've used this site quietly for years now, and this is a trend I'm sick of seeing. It's not only incredibly obnoxious, but it's also dangerous and poses a risk to game archival. I'm not joining some random user's Discord to learn how to manually install a mod it should be in the mod's description. Period. What happens if that user gets banned on Discord? The instructions for how to install the mod disappear, and it becomes a mod no one's going to know how to install in 5–10 years. Aside from that, I run my own Discord, and we've had a lot of people get their accounts hacked over the years. And in several cases they specifically say they joined a Discord from Nexus Mods, and then suddenly their account (based on descriptions) joined a botnet command-and-control server. Then they got logged out and just like that, their account was gone, and they never got it back again. Can staff actually start doing something about this, or what? It has to be against some kind of TOS to upload a mod but then put any mod updates or install instructions on a Discord server that Nexus Mods cannot moderate or control.4 points

Can you guys add filtering and sorting for tracked mods at last? You re-imagined the whole site, but this is still unchanged. It's unreal to orient oneself in the Tracking center, if you track a lot of mods. You can't even switch the sorting (like one does in Windows or whatever) by Category or Last upload. And it would be really useful, in some cases - even more useful then some of the nice changes you've made already. At least for people who track an insane amount of mods.4 points

I'm using Nexus wrong instead of the fun of getting banned because being upsetted about a nothingness, i download mods to enrich my game world to make screenshots about standing on a foggy day at a river watching raindrops hit the water surface.4 points

Some evidence - this NSFW image (link) is a collage of photos that don't meet adult content guidelines I found in randomly picked 7 days period on the website (just selected a random page few weeks back and browsed 7 days through). Minors can now browse such images on the website. Number of those could go down drastically: If moderation would start working together with users, not against users: I have joined Itaku recently. Made few mistakes with adult images classification from the start. Didn't even receive a warning! There: People suggest change instead of reporting infraction. Moderators help classifying content on the page instead of making people anxious with warnings and punishing them with bans. Staff assumes good will of the userbase and I see that it works - my first set was adjusted quickly not only with different classification, but also with additional tags. If people would have decent place to publish photos that are not SFW: Supporters area is out of question, since this is separated, isolated area that is unavailable for most users since only supporters and premium users can have access there, You support many adult mods. How do you expect that images people will post will only meet adult content guidelines?4 points

Now far ahead the Road has gone, and I must follow, if I can, pursuing it with eager feet, until it joins some larger way where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say." - J.R.R. Tolkien Nearly a quarter of a century ago, on May 1st, the third Elder Scrolls game was released. A world of adventure unlike any other, Morrowind provided a truly alien land to explore, one first unfamiliar but which, for many of us, became a home, a place we long to return to, where there's always something new to find on the horizon (even if that often turns out to be a swarm of cliff racers). In the decades since, not only has Morrowind continued to provide a rich and alien world, a setting for countless new adventures, but it has inspired innovation, for even 23 years later, the Morrowind Modding Community continues to grow and thrive, building new worlds, new experiences, new perils, and so many new things to see! Far from slowing down, Morrowind's modding community continues to build, releasing over 1400 new mods last year alone, including new provinces to explore with the massive expansion sized release of Anvil - there has never been a more exciting time to dive into modding! And in that spirit, and for Morrowind's 23rd birthday, it is only fitting that we announce the 2025 Morrowind May Modathon Month Modding Competition, the community's biggest annual event, returning for an 11th year! Just like every year, the Modathon is a free-for-all competition, any and all mods and modders are welcome to participate! Throughout the entire month of May, modders can join in by releasing mods on the Nexus to get a chance to win weekly random drawing prizes (composed of AAA and indie games), unlock achievements, and compete to win special mastery achievements by releasing the most popular mod in a particular category! Not only that, but all winners will get trailers, special showcases, and numerous video features on Morrowind Modding Showcases. Winners of the category masteries can also expect special video features, and of course, more prizes! Over the last decade, around 1500 mods have been submitted for the Modathons, from big expansion-sized content mods, to small gameplay tweaks and everything in-between. This event has always been special because it is a community-driven event, a month long holiday for modders to celebrate their craft, and I sincerely hope you'll all join us for the 2025 Modathon! As I always say, the best games never die, so let's make Morrowind better than ever before with tons of new mods! Achievements: It's not truly a Modathon without achievements, and indeed, achievements are back with some 95+ new achievements for you to unlock by releasing mods! Shiny new badges that you can add to your mod download pages or modder profiles, these achievements are divided into five main categories; Category, Metric, Challenge, Hidden, and Medalist. Each have different requirements, but every mod submitted will unlock at least a few! Compete in weekly themed challenges for unique achievements, try and find hidden achievements based on only a name, and go for gold by releasing the very best mod in a category! How many can you unlock? Try and collect as many as you can and become a Modding Master of Madness! Those About to Die Trailblazer Walk With the Prophets What Glitters in the Deep You Wouldn't Download A Guar Challenges: Need inspiration for a mod? Or maybe a little something to challenge yourself with? Themed modding challenges are returning for the 2025 Morrowind Modathon, with four new weekly themed challenges for you to compete in, should you so desire. These challenges are OPTIONAL, but they do come with new achievements to unlock! Can you make a mod to fit each theme? See the themed challenges below and try to build a mod for each one! Week 1: May 1st-10th, Make a mod that fits the theme of "Fables & Foibles" - Use the Challenge Header image here to participate. Week 2: May 11th-17th, Make a mod that fits the theme of "Horror & History" - Use the Challenge Header image here to participate. Week 3: May 18th-24nd, Make a mod that fits the theme of "Greed & Desire" - Use the Challenge Header image here to participate. Week 4: May 25th-June 2nd, Make a mod that fits the theme of "Parties & Betrayals" - Use the Challenge Header image here to participate. Can you make a mod to match each theme? Each of these challenges are deliberately designed to be fairly broad and open to interpretation, potentially fitting any of a wide variety of mods, allowing you to let your creativity go wild! Participation and How it Works: You can participate by leaving a short note in the mod description page of your mod at Morrowind Nexus that includes "Part of the May Modathon Month" somewhere near the top of the description or use the "Modathon 2025" tag to mark your mod as a competition entry. Every week, at least five different modders will be selected at random to win a single AAA or Indie game, and the way this works is that we'll compose a list of all participating mods released that week, plug them into a random number generator, and the first five results we get back will be the winners for that week. If you win in one of these weekly drawings, I'll send you a message on the Nexus or Discord notifying you that you've won and providing a list of games you can choose from as your prize. We have over 500 games to give away, so hopefully you'll find something you want on there! Once again this year, for the grand prize winners, we're letting the people decide! The mods with the most endorsements in each category (Gameplay, Immersion, Dungeons, Quests, Landscapes/Landmasses, Player Homes, Graphics and Audio, Towns and Cities, Items, etc....) by July 1st will be declared the masters of those categories, and win additional prizes as a result, including achievements and 2-3 game prizes for each grand winner in each category! We'll be going by whichever categories you upload your mods on the Nexus to, and obviously, some categories (like Weapons and Armor) will be counted under broader categories like "Items". If you have any questions regarding how this will all work, exactly, feel free to post them below! In total, there's 12 categories with Masteries (and other categories of mods will be included under one of the existing categories, if you're posting a mod to Miscellaneous for example, we'll include it under the category that makes sense, depending on the mod, or you can include what category you want it to be included under in the mod description): Companions/Creatures/NPCs Character Customization (heads and hairs, new races, clothing mods) Dungeons Gameplay Mods/Bug Fixes/Patches/UI (Depends on UI mod, some may be categorized as Graphics) Graphics Mods/Animations/Audio/Shaders Immersion Mods Items/Weapons/Armor/Books/Etc... Landscapes/Landmasses Modder's Resources/Utilities Player Homes Quests/Guilds&Factions Towns and Cities Rules: Overall this competition and giveaway is pretty easy to understand, and there aren't a whole lot of rules involved, but there are a few things we should clear up just in case. First, all types of mods are perfectly acceptable. From texture replacers to gameplay tweaks to content mods like house mods, quest mods, or dungeon mods. All of those are fine and will be accepted for the competition! The only kind of mod that will NOT be accepted is cheat mods, i.e. placing a barrel full of loot in the middle of Seyda Neen or placing a Daedric longsword in the Census and Excise Office. Cheat mods like that will not be considered for the competition. Also, we accept both tes3mp and OpenMW mods, as well as MWSE Lua mods! Regardless of which platform your mod is designed to work with, all will be accepted! Second, all submitted mods must be, at least for the most part, safe for work. Questionable content is acceptable so long as it isn't the entire mod, remember we have to showcase these and we can't showcase adult-themed mods on the channel! It should be pointed out that for larger mod projects, you can submit a demo or playable beta of your mod as part of the competition and it'll be perfectly acceptable. I do need to stress that it must absolutely be playable though. Any mod that crashes to desktop upon loading the game will not be considered. In addition, we ask that all participating modders please only release a *maximum* of 5 mods per day, there were some issues in past years with mods immediately getting buried, and we want everyone to have a chance to have their mods get seen! Also, we won't be counting very quick CS edit mods as counting towards achievements, in order to encourage less spam. Remember, this only applies to mods released in May, so let's all get to modding and make this the big 23rd Anniversary that Morrowind truly deserves! If you don't know how to mod, check out our Let's Mod Morrowind series for a visual guide to modding - including interiors, basic scripting, and quest design. Want to check out our past Modathons? I'm sorry to say, this is the absolute worst the Nexus UI has ever been. What happened? Is it unfinished or something? I would like to revert back to the old layout if this is possible? This new layout is such a mess.4 points

To make our miscellaneous inventory look a lot cleaner, a mod that takes all of your keys and places them into a keychain or keyring would be nice! If I recall there was one for the original Oblivion!4 points

No, but sometimes I would expect them to serve themselves a little better tbh.^^ People are no different online than they are offline. They just shed some of the inhibitions they would have in real life. This only makes them easier to recognize for what they are, however.4 points

I will never understand why some people actually seek out anger here and this person is a good example. They apparently look for mods they can get upset about and blow up in the comments. There is no other explanation for the behaviour, because why even opening a mod page and look at it when you know, you are not interested in downloading the content. I like to avoid getting angry online (and there is probably very few stuff that actually can make me angry online) because my rl is stressful enough. I want to relax here and not get worked up, lol. If you are angry, do sports, get laid, slap yourself in the face, I dont know, but ranting into the void isnt healthy and changes nothing.4 points

Afraid someone discovered a much less bloated method here: However, the tools you linked are still a requirement for replacing sounds/music. Already managed to get custom music playing in-game via OblivionRemastered/Content/WwiseAudio/Music/music_global_play.uasset in FModel, but the tracks are changing way too suddenly mid-way. Would have to dig through the code on my free time to see if additions are indeed possible. EDIT: Think I figured it out, the play length seems to be tied to the music_global_play.uasset file using the original music file's audio length, hence why it is cutting off early. If there's any chance we can edit and package it in a mod, we should be able to finally start publishing music mods.4 points

This website was literally built on the backbone of NSFW mods, its literally part of Oblivions history. "Coomers" Unbelivable. If you don't like it, once again, just ignore it. There is literally an option to turn off adult content.4 points

Can someone get rid of this crap please? It's really annoying to play for me when the screen flashes white whenever I look at something lootable. The hand icon and the label are the only things really necessary, there should be toggle for all the other stuff in the settings, but there's barely anything beside graphics4 points

I am writing to ask about the possibility of adding some new managing features to mod collections. Could it be possible to allow us to delete and edit our collections without having to download them first through the Vortex application? I understand the idea behind requiring us the download the collection before changing it so that we have to test it before making it public but sometimes I just want to create a list of mods I want to keep track of, so maybe we could simply create a collection we could edit and delete as we wish but could only make it public after downloading so that we can test it before making it public. Would this be possible? Regards.3 points

Honesty you've hit the nail on the head. Accessibility is never one size fits all, and what is accessible for some (take bright lights in a store for people who have low vision) is inherently inaccessible to others (bright lights causing migraines or over stimulation, or they make that horrible humming noise). The important thing for accessibility is to give options, like adjusting saturation/contrast and text size/color.3 points

As someone who's not a fan of one handed weapon with a shield-sword and board, in both combat and visual aesthetic, it would be great to get a dual wield mod. I know there are some dual wield mods for the original Oblivion game (even though they're just visual with off-hand weapon only used for blocking). Is it possible for someone to make a true dual wield, both hand attack mod for the remastered version? If not, even just make one for a blocking of hand weapon. similar to the mods for the original?3 points

Так радует мысль о том, что все люди мод комьюнити собрались здесь, чтобы помочь друг другу устранить проблему. Кто-то находит новые способы обхода блокировки и делится этим с другими.3 points

As title says It seems they removed the OG's 1st person view when riding a horse Third person horse riding feels off at times and would be great to have that old view back from the OG. Felt easier to control. Thanks in advance!3 points

They are not "sexual" mods, sexual mods are something else, they are mods that amplify and expand the possibilities of roleplay and character creation. Fantasy heroines in skimpy clothes have been seen since the 80s in comics and cinema from 40 years ago, they are fantasy iconographies well known to fans. It is very prudish and shows little mental flexibility to categorize those who use these mods as the classic nerd without a healthy sex life, it is sad in 2025 to see people who still think this way. I have dozens of characters on Skyrim, male and female, Knights in heavy armor, archers, black-cloaked thieves, as well as 80s heroines in skimpy clothes, it's pure role play and the pleasure of meticulously creating a PG, that's all, without paraphilias or sexual dysfunctions, each of them is characterized by roleplay according to my tastes and thanks to the mods I can push myself beyond the limits of the vanilla game, having the ability to customize a character, to roleplay, in a very in-depth way thanks to these mods.. These are RPG games, in this type of game there is something called "roleplay", which is not only in the choices of dialogues or in the class but also in the aesthetic drafting of the character. These are basic things. Wanting a female character who doesn't walk like a dockworker, who doesn't look like a man when she wears a suit or armor, and emphasizing femininity for the purpose of roleplay is not a sign of sexual perversion, it's pure roleplay, please, let's try to expand these limits a bit, because in 2025 they've honestly gotten tired. You are just cataloguing people without knowing anything about them, for your personal lucubrations due to inflexibility of visions. If it seems normal to you, to me it just seems very immature and presumptuous, as well as offensive. Honestly, I'm tired of even replying, I'm just disheartened by reading certain comments.3 points

@IceBlueDragon Try typing terms like "CBBE", "unp", "3BA", "3BBB", "BHUNP" into the mod section's search field and you'll understand both what kind of community you're writing in, and the history of Bethesda RPGs on the subject of mods... seriously, I have a hard time believing you know where you're writing.3 points

I have allot of oldblivion mods that made better looking characters and females in particular. A better character creator for sure! Better hair and faces, female sexy armor, (I had HGEC sexy armor replacer) and a female option in the creator. Definitely want more female armor.3 points

You really have the talent to add a bit of ugliness with every update. When I look at the new start page, I get eye cancer compared to before. Why do we suddenly need an ugly background image? The background image makes it extremely difficult to perceive the images of the individual games3 points

I'll chime in again with my feedback that's relating to usability here so it's clear and actionable: The button to "view more mods" at the end of the 16 newest mods on a game's landing page goes to a page with 20 mods. However, the first 16 of those mods are the exact same mods that were on the landing page. The old site, when you clicked on "more mods" (or whatever the button was called on that version) you started on either the next mod, or the last mod of the previous page depending on the situation. The current functionality is far less useful because it means you have to scroll past the same 16 mods you just looked at to see four new ones before needing to click _again_ to move on to a page with 20 actually new mods, whereas before you'd have a page with all new/almost all new mods right off the bat. This feels like a reduction in usability. I also feel that the collections banner being where it is hurts usability for the average user. I strongly believe the average user would be more interested in the trending mods and newest mods than a complete collection. I don't think the collections bar should be removed, but rather should be moved below newest mods and put before the media section. This way it's still in a mod-related area, but not impeding the old use cases of the old site where trending and newest were conveniently right next to each other.3 points
