	Just saw a user being helped to diagnose a crash and it turned out the mod causing it had been hidden a while back due to this issue. But they didn't know because they didn't go back and check all their mods on a regular basis.
</p>

<p>
	Perhaps the "Check for updates" feature could also be used to warn about this?

	It would be much easier and more efficient if translators could attach their language files directly to the existing mod file via the "Files" tab on the original mod page (upload icon for translations, right next to each file). This way, all available translations would be visible and easily accessible to users.<br />
	These attached translations would initially be marked as "not approved." The original mod author would then have the option to review and approve them if desired.
</p>

<p>
	Additionally, translators should be able to add a note when uploading their translation.<br />
	Users should also have the option to endorse the translator directly on the note page, note box or a popop to show appreciation and support for their work.

	Lately since my mods started to get some attention i started receiving some comments under them from users that didn't download the mod but commented it just spreading hate toward the mod and who downloaded it.
</p>

<p>
	I get that not every one will like the mods i make but its becoming kind of boring to manually moderating comments that add 0 value beside free hating.
</p>

<p>
	So i'd like to have more option to restrict who can comment. Like it would be nice only downloaders of the mod to be able to comment.
</p>

<p>
	In that way people that have no interest in the mod will just let it be without the ability to spread hate.
</p>

<p>
	That will make the comment section healthier and more enjoyable for who want to express appreciation or ask for help with something.
</p>

<p>
	I don't see the point of giving the ability to say they don't like mod to people that don't even use it.

	When we are downloading many mods, some mods have less priority than other mods so we temporarily pause it's downloading. Or due to super heaviness of certain mods, we prefer to download other mods first than those fatties.
</p>

<p>
	The thing is, once we disable pending by starting other mods to be downloaded, we are not gonna ever automatically download paused mods one by one. Either start all of paused mods altogether, or manually start them to be downloaded one by one, and that is really inconvenient in my opinion.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Even if we have paused to download some mods, wish we can also start them to be downloaded one by one AUTOMATICALLY whenever we want.

	When a mod author uses the function "Manage -&gt; Move to Bugs" for a comment, the created bug does not include the replies to that comment.
</p>

<p>
	This may be an intentional design decision.
</p>

<p>
	But there are cases where lots of troubleshooting happened in the reply thread, before the comment was moved to Bugs. This means that you lose valuable information contained in the discussion.
</p>

<p>
	There's an option to not hide the original comment, but that just adds confusion and noise for future users who read the long and out-of-date comment thread.

<p>
	I was about to complain that you couldn't change them and that searching for newest is basically never what I want when searching for mods, until I noticed that here is a very small Customize your search preferences option on the very bottom. Please make it bigger, more obvious and maybe even move it up to be above the results.

<p>

<p>
	Secondly, the base setting with date uploaded is stupid, at least for the games I mod (BGS Games, Subnautica) I basically never want the most recent mod with that name, but instead the most endorsed or most downloaded. Please make that normal option.

	I said it once for the author page update, and I'll say it again for this. There's way too much wasted space. Images are just a bit too large, while the gaps between them feel unnaturally spaced. Sure it's sleek but it's not as refined as the previous state.<br />
	<br />
	Edit: If we're improving accessibility and the user experience, why not offer some customization options? I for one would really prefer not having collections on a game's frontpage, as even if I were to engage with Vortex (I don't use Vortex in the first place), I wouldn't be using collections.

	When you mod for a long time (it's been 5 years for me), you will probably, just like me, make multiple modlists, for several reasons. When you build heavy modlists (i have 1400+ mods), and you want to make a new one, it's really a pain to know which one you downloaded for that new list or not.
</p>

<p>
	For those reasons i would really appreciate if you can work on a way to permanently hide that download history.

	"Followers", "Companions", or "Followers &amp; Companions" is a category available for all other Bethesda RPGs (e.g. <a href="https://www.nexusmods.com/games/skyrimspecialedition/mods?categoryName=Followers+%26+Companions" rel="external">Skyrim SE</a>, <a href="https://www.nexusmods.com/games/fallout4/mods?categoryName=Companions" rel="external">Fallout 4</a>, <a href="https://www.nexusmods.com/games/oblivion/mods?categoryName=Companions+-+Other" rel="external">OG Oblivion</a>, <a href="https://www.nexusmods.com/games/morrowind/mods?categoryName=Companions" rel="external">Morrowind</a>, and so on). It represents a specific type of mod - a new NPC that can accompany the player character on their adventures. However, in Oblivion Remastered, this category does not exist, and follower/companion mods must be put in the generic <a href="https://www.nexusmods.com/games/oblivionremastered/mods?categoryName=NPCs" rel="external">NPC</a> category. This makes it hard to find them, because the NPC category is otherwise mostly used for overhauling vanilla NPCs. Currently the only way to find this type of mod for Oblivion Remastered is to search for "Companion" or "Follower" in the text search.
</p>

<p>
	Suggestion - add Companions (or Followers) as a mod category for Oblivion Remastered. Alternatively, at least add a tag (category would be preferred though). Thank you!

	I know this forum is flooded with all manner of complaints about the new UI and I hate to be adding to it, but.
</p>

<p>
	One feature that I am <em><strong>sorely</strong></em> missing from the old UI is that this version <em><strong>severely</strong></em> delays showing you which file you've downloaded from the mod page.
</p>

<p>
	Previously, when you downloaded a single file, there would be A. an arrow allowing you to go back to the file selection (personal peeve that it's gone, but I guess that's just visual), and B. when you would go back to the file tab, the file would show a cloud symbol with a down arrow to indicate that you have now downloaded it. That would be <em><strong>immediate</strong></em>.
</p>

<p>
	Presently, that symbol only appears after <strong><em>five whole minutes</em></strong>. I have timed it many many times now.
</p>

<p>
	That is, frankly, an insane and incredibly inconvenient delay.
</p>

<p>
	Sure, if a mod has 10-15 files, I can just focus up and try and keep track of what I have already pressed to download. If I make an error, or get distracted mid-way, I can consult my download folder, I guess. Worse comes to worse, I'll just end up downloading the same file several times. That's frustrating and a clear downgrade from how things used to be -- but still manageable.
</p>

<p>
	But what about truly big mods? Mods that have upwards of 50 files? 100 files? Those pages are unusable without this.
</p>

<p>
	I know everybody has their own thing they want to see restored from the old UI. This is mine.
</p>

	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	Currently when I open images from notifications of people I track, I may stumble upon following message:
</p>

<p>
	<img alt="7bwckoakp37.jpg" class="ipsImage" data-ratio="75.08" height="750" width="435" src="https://cdn.imgchest.com/files/7bwckoakp37.jpg" />
</p>

<p>
	As a supporter and viewer I should easily see such image. The minimal solution to this problem would be pasting new url to supporters area image into this orange message. Ideally this should be completely transparent for viewers and they should have no trouble accessing the image (they should be redirected to new address of image).
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Currently I have to manually search for the user whose image was moved, open their profile and look for the image that was moved, a long way around instead of something that should be a single click.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Note that notifications also seem to break for such images. Please test various scenarios. One that I would highlight is viewer writing comment, image being moved to supporters area and author responding already from supporters area. But maybe notifications are in general faulty in this area. Recently I didn't get notifications from user who willingly put own image in supporters area, so there was no moving that could potentially break notifications.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	This issue falls into wider issue: Supporters area appearing to be a faulty creation. I didn't see anybody making images with intention of being exclusive for supporters (and "supporters area" name rather points at that). The area seems to be technically difficult to program and maintain. It may be better to decommision this thing in long run and focus on introducing some properties of images in regular area that will allow filtering them (both from perspective of limiting this content and from perspective of users having ease to choose what they want to browse now - maybe all content, maybe focus on adult content, maybe filter it out - this should be easily accessible from the images area, not hidden deep in settings).
</p>

	A few examples of sites that have this are Craigslist, Reddit, Facebook Marketplace, and Zillow. Frankly it's very commonplace and there are countless more examples.
</p>

<p>
	When you do a search, there is a button next to each listing that lets you block or hide the specific listing from being shown to you again. That's it. Every time you perform a search, that listing won't appear anymore. You already filtered it out of any relevance to you, so you don't have to go through that work again. And if you change your mind, you just go to the "hidden" tab, and it will show everything you've hidden and let you unhide it.
</p>

<p>
	Would be very convenient if I could just block certain mods from my list. I know I will never download them, so why should they clutter my search?
</p>

	As in the title, this is a feature I've wanted for a literal decade now. I tend to track loads of mods prior to downloading. I thought "endorsements given" meant given TO the user, not given BY the user and then I added mine up and I have over 200 which I'm very excited about and proud of as I'm very new and it's not exactly peek times for Fallout 4 mods haha. I'd like to show that off. I think since we're showcasing unique downloads and kudos it should be shown, preferably before the original so it shows received then given as I feel like that would make more sense in context to the whole profile. Also might want to add kudos given and received also.

	Hi, as a mod author, I was planning on making a small Stardew Valley mod promoting Queer mod authors and it would make sense to enable DP on it to send to a charity to support Queer folks.<br />
	I don't feel confortable setting the beneficiary to myself and manually convert the DP into money to be sent to charities every month. It would be very nice to be able to simply set the beneficiary to a Queer supporting charity, which would benefit from the DP on this (future) mod forever!

	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	I would like to suggest to the nexus some specific improvements for modders who make lots of variations of the same mod, like me, the "problem" is that i have to copy paste descriptions lots of times when making optional files for mods it gets very time consuming.
</p>

<p>
	<u><strong>My first suggestion:</strong></u>
</p>

<p>
	Would be that you would perhaps let us do like a quick copy of a mod file i have just posted.
</p>

<p>
	<strong><u>Example:</u></strong>
</p>

<p>
	I would click the file i have just posted under "edit existing files" and use the dropdown list called "manage" to select a new option called "copy description"
</p>

<p>
	And this would copy the description the name the version everything, and than the user would delete what he wants to disregard, so we could make several versions of mods without having to type over and over again the same thing or copy paste by hand on every variation of the file/mod.
</p>

<p>
	the file itself would not be copied, just the description to make it easier to make a similar description, without having to copy paste stuff the hard way.
</p>

<p>
	I just realised after writing all this, that you actually have a similar function already in place, the "upload a new version" of the same file option, does exactly this, only it checks a tickbox that says "<span style="background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0.05);color:#e1e1e1;font-size:13px;text-align:left;">This is a new version of an existing file (optional)"</span> that i can untick.
</p>

<p>
	So since you already have this option you could do a little modification(pun intended) of that option to say "copy description" and just not tick the box that says "<span style="background-color:rgba(255,255,255,0.05);color:#e1e1e1;font-size:13px;text-align:left;">This is a new version of an existing file (optional)"</span>, and add it as a new button.
</p>

<p>
	I will be honest i did not notice that option, so after over 60 copy pasting arounds i never thought i could do that.
</p>

<p>
	<u><strong>My second  suggestion:</strong></u>
</p>

<p>
	Is to, do a hard copy of a mod, when making alternative versions that you are posting, that are pretty much the same mod but it has some fundamental diference, we could completely copy a previous mod, and it would go to unlisted/unpublished mod, and we could edit the details on it.
</p>

<p>
	again, no need to also add the files just the descriptions and images for example to cut the workload in half. otherwise we have to resort to the old copy pasting around which is not that bad, but this would make it a bit easier and less time consuming.
</p>

<p>
	<u><strong>Final thoughts:</strong></u>
</p>

<p>
	I know this is not that much of a difference, but from experience, it sure would help with all the copy pasting,
</p>

<p>
	I believe the best thing is to make a mod full of variations(if possible) so people can pick what they like best right from the start, and this makes it so i bore myself to death while trying to upload all these different files.
</p>

<p>
	I am very grateful for your website, it always makes me happy to get some mods going after i finish a game.
</p>

<p>
	Sorry this text is long.
</p>

<p>
	Cheers!
</p>

	I mentioned that previously, and others and I were told that "sort by Trending" and the new "sort by Endorsements" are the same thing. But that's not true. I have already proven during the beta phase that they differ significantly and thus the new design has lost a significant advantage over the old one, to the point where the search no longer serves any purpose for me. Here's where I show and explain the difference between the old and new system:
</p>
<iframe allowfullscreen="" data-controller="core.front.core.autosizeiframe" data-embedauthorid="2547580" data-embedcontent="" data-embedid="embed840604480" src="https://forums.nexusmods.com/topic/13507498-mod-browsing-overhaul-discussion/page/32/?do=embed&amp;comment=130494241&amp;embedComment=130494241&amp;embedDo=findComment#comment-130494241" style="height:273px;max-width:502px;"></iframe><iframe allowfullscreen="" data-controller="core.front.core.autosizeiframe" data-embedauthorid="2547580" data-embedcontent="" data-embedid="embed8142891024" src="https://forums.nexusmods.com/topic/13507498-mod-browsing-overhaul-discussion/page/33/?do=embed&amp;comment=130494367&amp;embedComment=130494367&amp;embedDo=findComment#comment-130494367" style="height:292px;max-width:502px;"></iframe>

<p>
	And here's another post by another user explaining it as well, probably better than I ever could:
</p>
<iframe allowfullscreen="" data-controller="core.front.core.autosizeiframe" data-embedauthorid="8132404" data-embedcontent="" data-embedid="embed8905550213" src="https://forums.nexusmods.com/topic/13507498-mod-browsing-overhaul-discussion/page/65/?do=embed&amp;comment=130497654&amp;embedComment=130497654&amp;embedDo=findComment#comment-130497654" style="height:328px;max-width:502px;"></iframe>

<p>
	I neither want to see the most endorsed mods of all time (which are some of the oldest ones in most cases) nor do I want to filter out all mods that were released before a specified time-frame, which is what the current "sort by Endorsements" does. I want to see all mods ever released or over a longer period of time but have them sorted by the most endorsements over the last 14 days. Basically the same functionality of <a href="https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/top" rel="external">this page</a> but with the possibility to have search parameters applied to it. That's what the old "sort by Trending" did.

	Is there a way to somehow exclude words in the title/description when searching, or to search by exact match of the word (and not to give all results, where all letters are contained, even if inside another word)?
</p>

<p>
	For example, when I search by the word 'Male', in the results I get everything with the words 'Female'.
</p>

<p>
	I tried to put the word in quotes, but it does not help.
</p>

<p>
	In the old version of the site there was no such problem.

<p>
	There is 12 classes in vanilla BG3. Monk is missing here, all other 11 are represented. The "Other Classes" Tag is reserved for modded classes. It doesn't make sense that 1 out of 12 base game classes isn't listed as a tag.

	The old UI had the description search, author search, and uploader search as well as a title search that was the same as the main search bar at the top of the page, but it wouldn't revert any filters that you selected. Now it's harder to quickly edit the name of the mod I'm searching for, i.e. looking for "Nightvision" mods vs "Night Vision" mods, which both bring up different results.

	Can I please make a suggestion? Steam Workshop offers the ability to filter mods by date updated. I propose the implementation of advanced sorting functionalities within the "Requirements" and "Mods Requiring This File" tabs on Nexus Mods mod pages.
</p>

<p>
	Currently, the lists within these sections are presented without user-definable sorting parameters. Introducing the ability to sort these lists by criteria such as:
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		<strong>Download Count:</strong> To quickly identify the most widely used or essential prerequisite files, or the most popular mods building upon a specific framework.
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Endorsements:</strong> To highlight highly-regarded or community-approved dependencies and dependent mods.
	</li>
	<li>
		<strong>Upload Date:</strong> To easily discover the newest additions to the ecosystem, whether they are recently uploaded requirements or the latest mods utilizing a particular base.
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	This enhancement would be particularly beneficial for the "Mods Requiring This File" tab. For mod authors, it would allow them to see which dependent mods are gaining traction or are the newest. For users, it would significantly streamline the process of discovering relevant and up-to-date content that builds upon a mod they are interested in, or a framework they already use.
</p>

<p>
	By providing these sorting options, users would gain greater control and efficiency in navigating the complex web of mod dependencies and discovering new content, ultimately enriching their modding experience.

<p>
	so, I have been using the Nexus Mods Website for some time, alongside others, to get my mods for fallout 4 and Skyrim, despite the craziness that has been going on over the years. And one of the things I noticed is the big support for Vortex, over Mod Organizer. not trying to start a "well you should use this one, since it is better" debate or rant. though, it would be nice to have an option to export Mod Collections to both Vortex and MO2. for instance, when I click on "Add Collections", on a series of mods that have been put together, it only gives me the option for Vortex download. if there was a way to add an option for MO2 as well, rather than having to download each mod individually for MO2 users, that would be awesome. it would save MO2 users time as well, like myself.

	Turns out that since I didn't endorse or choose not to endorse the mod it keeps coming up in the pop up that shows you mods you haven't endorsed / skipped endorsing. If I try either action on the mod I get scolded for trying to take an action on a mod I'm blocked from and the pop up goes away before I can endorse the other mods. Quite an annoying cycle if I forget I've been blocked from a mod - which is all the time.
</p>

<p>
	Suggestion: Do not ask folks to make an endorsement decision on a mod they've been blocked from. Or let them make the decision. Either way is better than the current situation.
</p>

<p>
	Cheers.

	I've been active on this site for years and always use the Track Mod feature to save personal modlists. This means I have Tracked Mods for many games that I have no intention of returning to in the near future. I don't want to untrack anything just in case I do revisit them, but it's pretty annoying getting spammed with mod update notifications for those games.
</p>

<p>
	If we had an option to only receive notifications for "My Games" it'd be sweet. <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@14.0.2/assets/72x72/1f31a.png" class="ipsEmoji" alt="🌚">

	I have certain mods which host hudnerds of images to showcase and or to cover all what the mod is about.
</p>

<p>
	Its a nightmare to realign and order new images in case of an update or else.
</p>

<p>
	Whould you kindly add an option to sort images by name, this would help so much.
</p>

<p>
	Thank you and kind regards
