	Whenever I close the game while Vortex is still open it never registers it and thinks it is still running. So if I want to deploy mods I have to restart Vortex as well. It's not a big issue but I was wondering if anyone knew why this is happening.

	So I am running linux, a issue I have seen on occasion and have heard is a linux quirk is that vortex tries to pull rules from the Meta.ini files. I followed the recommended suggestion of setting all to load before and if you end up with cycles set one to load last. This did not fix the issue and I am stuck with like.....hundreds of cyclical rules. Fixing this manually one by one seems overwhelming and I am pretty sure I can just delete the meta.ini files to deploy it. My problem is that I can't seem to delete the rules assigned to the meta.ini stuff?<br />
	-I have tried deleting all rules by purging all mods. It fails for some reason? might be issues with vortex getting permissions to the file directories but i am not sure as the error pathing seems to be incomprehensible and is pulling from my heroic install of fallout london for some reason? I am not sure I understand what links its trying to purge here<br />
	-I have deleted the userlist.yaml file<br />
	-I have deleted the masterlist.yaml file<br />
	-I have tried to make a new profile and add the mod collection again through there. it still tries to run these rules on the new profile, won't deploy.<br />
	-I kinda don't know to to clear these links, I would like to avoid deleting everything and starting over. it took like 10 hours to download this collection, help would be appreciated. just the file that hold all these links so I can delete it would be nice

	I have Oblivion Remastered  installed via Steam, and Vortex 1.13.7.
</p>

	I had previously installed UE4SS manually as recommended, and had 2 or 3 mods installed (map-oriented), none of which required OBSE64. It was fine at first, but the last couple of days or so Vortex suddenly on startup showed popups saying that I require OBSE64 and UE4SS to be installed. This happened every time I ran Vortex. It would also give me an error about "invalid primary tool", this started at the same time as the other two popups.
</p>

<p>
	So in case something was scrambled, I told Vortex to remove the mods and archives, and I had Steam uninstall and reinstall OR. Now whey I bring up Vortex it still gives me the OBES64 download required popup and the invalid primary tool message after I click "skip" on the popup.
</p>

<p>
	Apologies if this is a duplicate topic, I did do a search and didn't see anything related to this issue. There should be no reason for OBSE64 to be required, the current environment should be equivalent to a fresh install.

	I have a question that I hope someone in the Community may be able to address.  If this has already been answered elsewhere, I'd ask someone kindly to point me in the right direction.

	Up until several months ago (maybe over a year; time does fly), in my experience when I used Vortex to download a Mod from Nexus, I found that it automatically placed the associated Plug in(s) in a specific group, for example "Late Loaders" or "Vampire Overhauls".  Several Vortex updates later, I have found that any Mod I downloaded from Nexus now automatically ends up in the "Default" group.
</p>

<p>
	 I can of course then manually change this on the back end, however, I wondered if there was any functionality that I am not aware of where I can turn hat feature back on, i.e. Mods automatically go into the proper Group like the old days.  I am a relatively novice user, so it may be something simple that I am not aware of.  Any guidance that someone may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

	Long story here but to make it simple I've tried everything except contacting my isp to fix this. I fixed it temporarily, but I deleted the masterlist file once I got it to make one BECAUSE VORTEX SAID TO to try and fix something and now it won't reinstall no matter what I try. The way I fixed it before was getting rid of Net 3 which allowed my Net 6.0.27 to take over.

	So confused this isnt a thing yet. I have seen so many collections advseing to keep agree'ing and clicking yes to them.

	Turns a mod collection run that should be 30 minutes in 4-5 hours at times because you might forget to come back to agree to the next set of them.

	You'll get 5 in a row sometimes, then it will do the next 10 and get stuck waiting for the agree again.

	I havent run into an issue with them yet (from collections), but maybe put a super duper warning if your that concerned about it when (adding this option) &amp; enabling 'yes to all' that it may fk up your whole collection or something.

I try to boot up today and vortex says I cant boot the game and give the error message "couldnt find oblivionremastered-win64-shipping.exe" I can boot the game just fine normally without mods. But I have no idea why when I have done nothing with vortex or oblivion besides just playing the game, that it cant find the .exe now. Any help would be great, thank you.</span>

	   I'm unable to install any mods in my Skyrim Special Edition profiles.<br />
	I get this error. I'm able to download, but during install, I get the red label saying Install failed and then this message.

	I logged out of my nexusmods profile and logged back in.<br />
	I changed profiles. Same error. 
</p>

	Any help would be appreciated.

	I used Vortex the last few days without problem, playing the XBOX PC version of Fallout 4.   This morning when trying to start up Vortex it did something weird, crashing on startup.   I closes a second after it appears, and only occasionally do I see the dashboard.   <br />

	I tried to reinstall the software, to no effect.   I then uninstalled it and tried to install it again.  No effect
</p>

<p>
	I did the "SFC /scannow" check as I found on other threads.    Results were "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations"
</p>

<p>
	I'm running a virus scan now.  And will do a memory scan after that.  Looked for vortex log files but did not find them.

	For the last few days, I'm getting errors following a VERY slow startup of the most recent Vortex mod manager.<br />
	I have opened my firewall (Comodo) wide for everything that connects to the Nexusmods.com domain, and specifically port 443 with no change.

	Same error. It makes playing impossible, and takes 40 seco0nds to respond to a click on a button.

	Uninstalled and reinstalled the application with no change.<br />
	Running Windows 11 on a 1 Tb SSD internal with more than 66% free space.<br />
	The app is the only thing affected, and I'm not having issues logging into my account on any web browser.<br />

	Really can't seem to fix the issue with the plugins.txt, causing an "Exception Access Violation 000000018" every time I re-set, add a new mod or change my load order.

	I had no issue or any CTD for over 50 hours in the game. I am not sure if this began with update 1.14.0. Even though i am on the previous update.<br />
	I have tried re-setting my plugins.txt through vortex, and I am sure that my Oblivion remastered esp's are in the right order they should be in.<br />
	My load order is 234 mods at the moment with no mod compatability issues.

	I can still launch the game and play with all of my mods activated only if I delete the Plugins.txt that Vortex generates, validates or updates every time I move a mod up or down in the load order or add a new mod, and copy and paste an older Plugins.txt from a week ago since I always back up my plugins.txt when adding new mods or changing load order. 
</p>

<p>
	The older Plugins.txt the game actually works with is identical to the one that Vortex would generate currently with the exception that all new mods i have downloaded since that plugins.txt was saved would be on the bottom.<br />
	If I try to move even a single new mod in the load order in Vortex and Vortex updates that same plugins.txt the game immediately CTD.
</p>

<p>
	The old plugins.txt works only if I don't update or download anything new, but that prevents me from arranging my load order, and I'm forced to use my mods in the order I have downloaded them which is not sustainable with a large load order.
</p>

<p>
	So I can't understand why an older identical plugins.txt works, but the one Vortex currently generates causes the Exception Access Violation CTD on launch
</p>

<p>
	I am also aware of this post. "There is a bug in Vortex 1.14.0-beta.2 which can intermittently skip plugins.txt file serialization. If you are unable to modify your plugins.txt file or persistently change your load order - switch to the 1.13.7 stable update branch as a temporary fix update to 1.14.0-beta.3.Vortex 1.14.0-beta.3 has resolved the plugins issue mentioned above.<br />
	But I can't seem to find a downloaded link.

	When switching profiles (I have 7), I run into two issues. Mainly, numerous (20-40?) mods will show as enabled, but either the plugin is disabled or the textures are missing from the game folders. These are mods that were enabled on the profile already. Sometimes a reinstall fixes it, but when  I switch to another profile, I'll have the same problem.<br />
	<br />
	I also get told a ton of my mods (again, 20-40 of them) are redundant. They are not redundant.<br />
	<br />
	The mods can be anything. Quest mods, texture replacers, mods affecting the player, etc. I can not find a pattern.<br />
	<br />
	A purge and redeploy doesn't fix it.<br />
	<br />
	Any thoughts on what I should look at?

	I had mods installed before and everything worked fine but after the 64 bit update Vortex cannot find the install, the error tells me where to look and when I check it in file manager it's there the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of the .exe but when i try to manually set the path on vortex there is nothing in that folder where the .exe should be.

	It looks like Vortex uses a staging folder for the mods, then tries to hardlink the mods to the game files. Unfortunately, 7 days to die requires the mods to be in a folder titled "mods," which Votrex deployment does not do. The method vortex is trying to implement is not compatible to the method the game requires. I guess you could say that this is not a Vortex issue, but if Vortex put the mods into the "Mods" folder on deployment, it would work...

	Vortex is also targetting the App Data folder as the Game's mod folder, which is completely incorrect. So even when the deplyment mod is changed to "move," the mod files are being put in the completely wrong place. The directory needs changing to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods

	Unfortunately the fix doesn't work, because editing the file to put the correct target location isn't permanent. Vortex undoes the correction, to put the old incorrect target location back into the file. I'm sorry but I'd say this IS a Vortex issue, without a shadow of a doubt. It's a shame that the OP got fobbed off, rather than the issue being resolved, as no 7 days to die players can use Vortex in its current state. It looks like a very simple fix as well, so this is a shame.

	MY HD crashed a while ago and I was hesitant to redo my Skyrim VR, but I finally am getting to it.

	I opened vortex and there is so much stuff already in it, that I am lost what I need, what I don't need and on top of that I find things, that I simply never had that are on my HD, that I know I wouldn't have downloaded. None of the games I show in the screenshots, I own. So why is there Baldurs 3 folder for example? Why am I deleting Starbound orStardew Valley or SPyro, etc from downloads? I never had any of those games.

	All of this is just polluting my view, because it's mixed up with games I actually have, but some I don't believe I ever downloaded like No Man's Sky.

	I want clean interface so I am not confused what I have downloaded or not. I find it bizarre!

	I noticed that the Daggerfall Unity support in Vortex is lacking. So I wrote a custom extension that fixes this. But this means it will show up as a game variant in the Games tab in Vortex with a "Community" label.

<p>
	Since some modders put their .dfmod files at the root of the zip, they can't be installed via Vortex. This fix checks if this is the case and makes it so the target directory is /mods.
</p>

<p>
	I will upload this as a community extension to Nexus, afaik this will get used over the build in one, if the priority is higher, right?

	I have attempted several solutions to try to get Vortex to work with me, however the main issue I'm finding is that nothing I do works. Ready or not and the staging folder are on the same drive, I've tried to rename/delete the staging folder JSON file, I've made sure WinRAR is up to date, and I've tried rolling my Vortex version back to the previous version. None of those worked. The section where I would select a deployment method is red with "No deployment method available."
