i am new to this forum and do not play games much on mobiles or PC or any consoles, but since i like hacking i tried many games to hack them.

Recently, I have encountered some obstacles in my way of playing Fallout 4 with mods. I downloaded the Sims collection. Loved it until problems persisted. First, after playing the game for some time I get an error "F4SE is not loaded, but I have it showing in the game's load order and on Vortex. Secondly, I am consistently having to "finish" the download of the game Sims collection mod. I have uninstalled and reinstall both Fallout 4 and the mod downloader. I went and even done the same with Steam app. Yes, I have downloaded the F4SE from it's website and placed the folder as instructed by Vortex tutorial. I'm retired and disabled Veteran just trying to burn time of a long boring day. Yes help. Thank you.

For starters I want to learn how to extract models from games and replace them with models I've created or modified from other games (Then eventually move on to more advanced stuff). There's a specific game I want to get started with (FF7Rebirth) but would love to learn more about modding in general

It's my own fault really, I've been trying to degoogle my life as much as possible, and part of that included ditching my old email account that my old nexusmods account was attached to.

While I am bummed out about not having my lifetime premium anymore, there are things that make me glad to not have access to my old account anymore, there are things on that account I'd rather not be reminded of to say the least, things I just want to forget.

That being said, I am curious about the modding scene for games like oblivion(not the recently released remaster) and skyrim on Linux, I used to use Windows back when I played modded oblivion and skyrim, but as of a year ago I made the switch to the penguin so I'm curious to see how such things will work on Linux,

it reads: Game:No Man's Sky. I tried to uninstall but when restart the nexus app it is still there. I don't own that game should I be concerned?

Can someone help me with this mod from Maxsu2017 "https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/85814?tab=description" I installed this mod but I didn't enjoy it because I also have Elden Counter and Hellblade Timed block installed. I uninstalled the dual wielding unlocker mod and re-run Nemesis but the animation remains. Now I cannot block properly and cannot use Elden Counter and Hellblade Timed block. I hope someone can help me. Thank you.

I'm Joe. Without getting into too many specifics, I have a few hundred hours on ready or not, I play with some basic mods (Cosmetic, Difficulty and weapons). After trying my hardest to enjoy this game (and I really do) I have realized that I am going to have to play multiplayer in order to really scratch that tactical itch I have been searching for. So hopefully I have come to the right place! I am just so over playing multiplayer where dudes on want to play vanilla and just scatter in all directions and have ZERO communication. I have a military background; on a public forum I am not trying to get into my details, but I am willing to teach CQB and other tactics as well as learn what some other dudes have to offer.

It’s been quite some time—about eight years, to be exact—since I was last active in the modding scene. A lot has changed since then, but I’m excited to finally be stepping back in. Over the past weeks, I’ve been working on some projects some are still in planning stages some are slow work, and now, for the first time in ages, I’m reaching out to reconnect with the community.

I represent a small but passionate group of modders who have been collaborating on new and ambitious content. We have our own Discord where we discuss ideas, share progress, and support each other in bringing creative visions to life. While we’re still growing, we’re eager to engage with the wider modding community once again.

When actually playing my game (currently 7 Days to Die mostly) I had the most fun attempting to build nice things on PvP servers. As you can imagine, this was quite challenging. Rarely did I ever finish anything. I often found myself wielding an AK47 by reflex just to simply take screenshots.

3 Bridges in warzones did get completed. and heavily used (so I was told)

While very fun an exciting, every time the servers reset was a sad day (as I was not going to bother the admin to try and get an export) When the last server I was on (Rearmed City) reset. I finally noticed that the game now had a prefab editor built in (not sure how long that's been there) so I decided to load it up and take a look. This is great! But of little use running through GeForce Now. So I had to get a computer that could run the game without GeForce Now. So I did.

Before 7 days. My only voxel building experience was in Empyrion Galactic Survival [My Workshop for EGS] and a little bit of Space Engineers. Both of those games have very similar controls for their editors as well as being to export anything built in game with a single key combination. To my surprise (and annoyance), the 7 Days to Die editor is similar, though very different. After poking around in the editor for way longer than I should have without watching a tutorial. I finally gave up because I wanted the controls to be the same, and didn't want to learn another editor.

Due to the number of blocks in the game and how much I enjoy playing and building things. I kept coming back to it, struggle, and quitting until one day I decided I'm not getting around watching tutorials, not with this editor. So I found Phys1csGamez tutorials on youtube and watched them. He did an absolutely amazing job with them! I haven't even watched them all yet and learned a ton from just the first one.

After this I spent about a week (maybe 3) detailing my first Prefab that I felt was good enough to share. The Clopex Estate (The name is a tribute to The Burbs and their neighbors the Klopex) Love that movie! lmao "I let you keep the femur, but I want my skull!"

I uploaded it to Nexus Mods and thought little more of it than: Cool! Now other people can get my prefabs if they want. And I have a place where I can store them safely for myself!! (I may have shared a link on reddit or Facebook, I don't recall)

And then went on to try and make another prefab. Never quite happy with the quality of the things I was creating. I would frequently get to 80% done and start a new one. It didn't take long for my house start getting downloads. I didn't expect much interest and was waiting to see how high my download count would get before it tapered off and died out. That didn't happen. The download count kept climbing. People starting sending me DMs asking for permission to use the use the mod in their downloads or requesting contributions to their projects. Due the unexpected positive response (I was expecting little to none), I really wanted to get another prefab posted asap. So I went with something I thought was simple. A small park. Gella Park I finished this prefab on timeline as if my job depended on it. I was not entirely happy with the prefab at first, but it did fit the definition of "complete", so I posted it. Again, expecting nothing to come of this park as I considered it to be a little effort filler item (little effort is weeks for me), I went ahead an posted it so I could get started on something new. Again I was shocked. What I considered to be an okay prefab compared to the house I previously released, it was keeping pace and getting almost as many downloads, endorsements as well. Still can't believe the positive responses I am getting. Thank you everyone! The people here a great!

I just noticed in my email when I passed 3,000 downloads Nexus mods sent a month of free Premium Membership! Thanks!!! Idk what it does yet but thanks! I did notice at 1,000 downloads I was granted Mod Author on the discord server (idk how to get through the welcome message and authorized. I rarely use discord, I might use it more if I can get through the on-boarding process with Nexus Mods)

I did very little work over the holiday season, and while my total download count for the month did go down, not by much.

Once I started to comprehend I was never going to be as happy with my creations as the user, I started doing early releases knowing I could always update it later (and it helps a little to keep me interested in the project, coming back to play test, looking for bugs, texture editing, adding zombie volumes etc, knowing that people would be depending on me to fix any issues (or update) the mods.

Thank you to the site owners and everyone who has deemed any of my creation worthy to download.

The only thing I enjoy doing more than building things in my free time is seeing how much everyone else enjoys them.

I look forward to learning to mod other games as well in the future, but for now, I will be sticking to 7 Days to Die.

Here's how I managed to go cosmetic-surgery on characters, give them tattoos, replace their armors and outfits, and assign individual presets to specific characters besides the body-meshes provided by replacer mods. All without EVER having to resort to Outfit Studio -BodySlide indeed suffices- or -the gods forbid!- xEdit; step by step, in chapters/sections, and with pictures, in the simplest language I could muster.
