kinda funny how I could imagine elders scrolls series turning into starwars stuff.

my biggest concern was, they would ignore the mistakes they made in oblivion compared to morrowind. I'm still largely attached to Morrowind and oblivion seems to push me away everytime I look at it.

and I get nightmares about elders scrolls MMOs... -.-

but oblivion was fun at first, but it kept getting worse. hated the leveling system!!

I just wish elders scrolls V comes out as i least expected it to be, hopefully more.

I think TES V is going to be my last Bethesda buy when it does come out.

The quality and modification easy and availability have steadily been going down, atleast in my personal opinion.

Unless TES V is built on the phy engine of FO 3 or better and is as modifiable as TES III, I am out.

QUOTE (Necrow @ Nov 18 2009, 06:26 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Interesting thoughts though there is nothing to give up actually. smile.gif Bethesda will make another elder scrolls game and probably is already on the making of it but keeping it as far from public as possible. For now Bethesda wants to squeeze everything from Fallout 3 which is coming to an end as I see.

Well Fallout: New Vegas is coming out in late 2010, so I think that they've finished everything with fallout 3 for now. Since they aren't actually the ones developing it, it could be that they are working on TES V right now, and I'm guessing it would come out in 2011.

@TwilightMoon, remember that TES games are huge and take a long time to make. Oblivion came 4 years after morrowind, so we really haven't waited that long yet. Bethesda has just moved on to other projects, or at least they are saying that. They tend to hide things till the last minute so you never know!

Oh, I'm certain that they will. Each game that Beth cranks out of this type seems to include the best parts of the previous one along with the best mods that the modders made. Really great mods like Harvest and Deadly Reflex made it into Fallout3, and I've no doubt that the best Mods we're seeing for Fallout will likewise wind up in TES V as standard equipment. For all our complaints, the folks at Bethsoft really do seem to know what they're doing when it comes to making games with great mass-appeal, so I doubt that they'll go backwards and make a new game that leaves out the best parts of previous ones.
Of course, I could be wrong. I doubt it, though.

I just hope that the earlier rumor, of TES V being set in Skyrim, is false. I just don't feel up for a campaign across the frozen north. Solsteim was enough, thank you. I'm personally hoping for a complete Tamriel next time, but I'm not holding my breath.

I swear after experiencing the radian AI in Oblivion every other RPG game's Ai system make sme want to puke. Its so amazing how the characters live and breathe. I hope they add on to it in numbah 5.

"i hope its more like morrowind than oblivion"

Well about that... Some time ago I've read the forums in Bethesda and found something about it. I believe that they will try making it a bit more like morrowind only not that... dead. It should be pretty epic I'm sure of that. I't shouldn't look like morrowind luckily.
