This is generic crash help and may not be exactly what you are looking for. If there is something I have missed, something that is not right or something that can be added please let me know.
Crashes are a part of the Oblivion experience. It's the game's way of telling you that you need to take a break. :whistling:
There will always be some crashes, all we can do is minimize them.
Save often, it will keep the frustration level down. :wallbash:
Anything running in the background can cause a crash. Especially a program that likes to call home, such as an antivirus program that update ...

Believe it or not, ever since the 360 came out you've been able to get mods on the 360. Since you 360 is hooked up to LIVE(yes you need it), that automatically implies to having your 360 hooked up to your PC, anyway, download the mod to your computer, go to the 360's dashboard and extract the computer mods onto Oblivion, there you go, you can then remove the mods from your computer. I will take you step-by-step and soon you will be gaming like the rest of us. NOTE: These settings are based on windows Vista. If you are not using Vista then ignore steps 2 and 3.
FIRST, install Oblivion into C:\Program Files\Games
SECOND, once you have the game installed and it appears on your desktop, right click and click on "run as administrator."
THIRD, click on Start\Control Panel\Security Center\Other Security Settings and turn your User Account Control (UAC) off.
NOTE: Disabling the UAC is not completely necessary. Disabling the UAC cuts off the annoyance of the permission request every time you install or open a program onto your computer. This is 100% optional.

Hello. As you know, some mods are not what people would consider 'good' mods. I'm not referring to what they offer, but instead they cause problems with even the best of computers.Whenever I experience problems I go through the list of mods I've recently installed. That's usually the answer when a person asks this question on the forums. However, some mods take a little while before imposing their particular brand of problem.
What is needed is a comprehensive list of mods that cause these sorts of problems. With this, a player who suddenly has a crash, conflict, or whatever can consult this list of mods and check to see if they have these particular ones downloaded. This beats the other process of going through all ...

Commonly we find people ranting on these boards about how they can barely ever find any armors that aren't built to be sexy. While such things are appreciated by the community (otherwise they wouldn't have such a high download count) there are the few of us that want something more... substantial.This is what I seek to make a list of - links to armor mods that are for us who do not wish for these "Sexy armors" that is easily accessible by the community. If you find one that is not listed her, by all means please post a link and I will edit the first post to include it into the list. Hi, this probably doesn't sound like much since pretty much anyone with the construction set can do this, but ANYWAYS.If you don't have the construction set, and found a modders' resource you would LOVE to put in your game, but you dont know how and you can't (I experienced this problem many times before i got the CS) then just PM me with the location of the Modders' Resource you want in your game, tell me the stats you want to give it, and i will do my best to get it back to you. ...
